Bandung, 2022. — After two years since this shit (pandemic) come to our world. Everything must be separated. That’s so unpredictable for me. Our life seems like two people doing conversations between a huge mountain. Can’t go anywhere, can’t meet someone who you want to, can’t breathe with safe and relax. For two years we are wrapped in a terrifying situation.
When the current situation sounds safe for us, to go back to the “normal world”, back to the activities that we missed. I can breathe without feeling scared of being infected. See people’s emotions for real, because there is no mask put on our faces. We can touch each other without feeling scared, and people trying back to do some old stuff. Yeah, offline activities. No need for the more online word.
On the day when I read a flyer on my Instagram explore, there are one interesting workshop that I found. “Acting Class for 36 Hours by Eka Nusa Pertiwi” — I don’t know exactly who she is. I just focus on the schedule that they put on a flyer. A busy day for acting class, I thought. Four days into the class, the tutor we’ll teach you some acting material and exercise, and on the last day, you’ll need to show the result of the class by performing something that you got in front of the audience. So, what’s going on?
I decided to join the class.
There are a lot of stories if a write all of them here. Too many unpredictable situations, good and new experiences. Open my mind about what is acting(?) who is an actor(?) what do you need to be an actor(?) what do you need for preparing yourself before doing everything(?) how to make sure someone understands what your talking about(?) what is abstract(?) what is art(?) — the more interesting when I found the answer who are you(?)
This journey gave me bucks of experience. I listened to the audience who missed a lot to watch an offline show like theater, and the student who missed a lot to improve their skill after getting stuck on a pandemic. Learn more about humans. Give a response to society by seeing and touching gently.
This week’s trip is a code for people if there’s no time for surrender, you need to get up and create a new story. No matter how terrible the story happened before. We talk about the after by watching the before.
